I have a 2018 Honda CR-V and I caught a “gift” on the road near Domano Blvd, right after the ice melted. A stone — and that’s it, a star, which literally in 3 days turned into a full-fledged web on the right side of the glass. At first, I wanted to go to Speedy Glass, just because they were well-known, but a friend at work advised me to try Auto Glass Stores in Prince George, BC — she said that they are not only “fast”, but also do quality work. I called them — and the next morning they saw me, without any “wait until Friday” (and it was Tuesday). It turned out that they really work directly with ICBC, and I did not have to pay anything out of pocket — they processed everything right there. I only showed my insurance card and signed one paper. The process itself took about an hour and a half. They offered either the original glass or Guardian (according to the mechanic, a proven option, a little cheaper, but quite decent in quality). I chose Guardian because I don't see the point in overpaying, especially considering that my car is not completely new. After the replacement, they checked everything, even looked at the tire pressure for free - as a bonus :) And I also separately noted that the mechanics work in clean gloves, without dirt and dust, and carefully glued even the internal stickers back (I had a parking pass hanging there, so they didn't throw it away, but carefully re-glued it).

Interesting topic, thanks for sharing! I haven't had to replace it yet, but the glass is already chipped in two places - apparently, it's also a matter of time. It's nice to know that Prince George has reliable Auto Glass Stores, especially if they work with ICBC and don't drag their feet. I'll take note of GlassMasters, it sounds like a good option.
